Public Address II Spoken Word Tour

public-addressAll has been fairly quiet on the poetry front for me  this summer mainly because of the big D: The Dissertation. Yes, this summer, while people were lapping up the sunshine, enjoying beer gardens, going to festivals and such, I got well and truly acquainted with the library, working my master’s dissertation. I’m not going to lie, it’s been emotional, I’ve eaten more than my fair share of chocolate biscuits, befriended jeggings, used to the words ‘thus’ and ‘pertinently’ more than I care to acknowledge and may have fallen asleep on my desk more than once, but at long last it is finished!

So, I’m looking forward reading, writing and performing poetry again, and what a good way to restart by going on tour! I am the London poet for the Public Address II Tour with Apples and Snakes. Myself and four other poets Tommy Sissons, Jack Dean, Lorna Meehan and Chris Stewart, each representing an Apples and Snakes region, will be touring across the country in October.

The first gig is this Wednesday 9 October at the ARC in Stockton on Tee.

Other gig dates are:

Saturday 19 October Public Address II @ Openbook festival, Dorset

Sunday 20 October Public Address II @ Gallery Cafe, London

Monday 21 October Public Address II @ Nuffield Theatre, Southhampton

Saturday 26 October Public Address II @ Mac Birmingham, Birmingham
